I use acupuncture, massage, health exercises, lifestyle and dietary advice based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. This offers a different way of understanding the body, health and illness with treatments that are natural, safe and (surprisingly) relaxing.
Please have a look around the site to see if I might be a good fit for you and contact me if you have any questions.
Acupuncture & Massage
Relaxing treatments that encourage your body’s own healing mechanisms while you escape the stresses of daily life.
If you’re new to acupuncture and Chinese medicine, click here to learn more about the treatments.
Similar to tai chi, these health exercises combine postural work, stretching, breathing and mindfulness to promote vitality and inner peace.
If you want to take a more active role in your treatment, learn more here.
My approach is holistic, using a range of techniques and styles of acupuncture, depending on what is most appropriate for you. Generally my approach is quite gentle using relatively few needles.
“When all other treatment types had been exhausted (medicines, other holistic therapies and even surgery), acupuncture gave me hope that I could get back to a life without pain. Richard made me feel comfortable with his easy manner and friendly professionalism and now I feel like I have been put back together.”
Health Workshop for Artists
blue-ginger, Cradley, WR13 5NW on Monday 26th September at 1pm
Artists usually spend long periods of time hunched over their work, and many of them have problems with neck, shoulder and back pain, RSI and other problems. In this workshop I’ll explain how painful conditions can arise, and teach some techniques and exercises to help prevent them. I’ll also be offering one-to-one massages and consultations after the main workshop, with refreshments provided while you wait.
